Welcome to Floridawithall

A Florida resort is a place used for relaxation or recreation, attracting visitors for holidays or vacations. Resorts are places, towns or sometimes commercial establishment operated by a single company. Such a self-contained resort attempts to provide for most of a vacationer's wants while remaining on the premises, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping. The term "resort" sometimes is misused to identify a hotel that does not provide the other amenities required of a full resort. However, a hotel is frequently a central feature of a resort. A resort is not merely a commercial establishment operated by a single company, although in the late twentieth century this sort of facility became more common.

Towns that contain resorts, or where tourism or vacationing is a major part of the local activity, are often called resort towns. Resorts exist throughout Florida, increasingly attracting visitors from around the globe. Closely related to resorts are convention and large meeting sites. Generally these occur in cities where special meeting halls, together with ample accommodations as well as varied dining and entertainment are provided.

Open Question: All inclusive resorts for families?

I've been trying to look up resorts in either mexico or florida as a family trip. However, all the reviews I've looked at for different resorts mention that it is mostly for couples. Does anyone know of a nice resort that is more family oriented and not as much for honeymooning couples? Thanks.

Open Question: Best Carribbean Honeymoons?

Your Question best places in the carribbean to honeymoon? My FH and I are starting to talk about honeymoons. We'll be getting married in early September of NEXT year, so there's plenty of time to plan! There are a few things we know we want, somewhere as 'all inclusive' as possible, meaning more like a resort than a B&B, where we really don't HAVE to leave if we don't want to, but if we decide to explore there's something interesting to see outside the resort. Also should be somewhere where he can go fishing one day and I can go to a nice spa (in the resort preferably) but overall somewhere where we don't really have to think or worry about anything and just eat and drink and be 'merry'. We live in south Florida, so anywhere in the Carribbean is an option, we just don't travel much and are looking for suggestions =)

Resolved Question: Is this enough vacation... 5 days in Spain after a weekend in Florida, preceded by 10 days Martha's Vineyard?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100726/en_afp/usspainpoliticstourism_20100726182118 5-day trip to follow weekend on FL's Gulf Coast, precede 10-day vacation on Martha's Vineyard... WASHINGTON (AFP) – US First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Spain next week on a "private mother-daughter" trip, but President Barack Obama will not go along, the White House said on Monday. Michelle Obama will also take up an invitation to make an official call on King Juan Carlos and Queen Sophia, the White House said. The announcement came a day after Spanish media reports erroneously said the president himself would take his family for a holiday at the upscale southern Spanish resort city of Marbella. The White House press release on Monday did not specify if Michelle Obama was taking both, or one, of her daughters, Malia and Sasha along, and gave neither a destination nor a venue for the "closed press" trip. "The First Lady will travel to Spain next week for a private, mother-daughter trip with longtime family friends. President Obama will not be joining this trip," the White House said in a statement. According to the Obama's official schedule, the First Family will visit the disaster hit Gulf Coast in Florida for a weekend in August and will spend 10 days in the upscale northeastern resort island of Martha's Vineyard.
