Open Question: How can a college student save money, to help pay for a vacation?
Im a full time college student, and work part-time. Me and my father are thinking of going to florida in the fall, with some of his family again. We stay at a timeshare resort in Orlando, FL. Me and my father fly down, while his family does the road trip thing. I have a severe anxiety and panic attacts to road trips, so driving down is not an option. We fly Airtran.
I wanna help my father pay for some of the flights. Im always on a tight budget. I have to pay car insurance, a credit card, gas, food, and you name it. How can I save money, without fwalling short on money?
Im a road trip hater. Airtran seems to have low fares.
I meant falling short on money.

Open Question: Planning on going to Florida on the 22nd Sept - 8th Oct, will it be quietish?
Hello
Planning on going away this time and wondered if its going to as quiet as it possibly can be?
Trying to pick a time where UK kids and US kids are going to be at a minimum and queues etc are going to be as short as they can be?
Looking at staying in the Oak Plantation Resort - Vacation Villas with flights and a basic car is about 1800 for 2 so 900 pounds each? Does anyone know where i can get a better deal maybe for those dates?
Is it cheapier to just go fly drive and book motels?
what do we all think? i have accepted that you cant really get super cheap tickets for the parks. everywhere i have looked is only a saving of maybe 10 pounds but any feedback would be helpful?
Planning to go to take in some of the halloween festivities so if anyone has any recommendations on good places to go for that all is welcome!
Thanks!!!

Open Question: Family 0f 7-Villa or 2 Studio Rooms?
My family of 7 (four adults over 18, 2 kids ages 14 and 10) is planning a vacation at Disney World Florida. I was wondering if a villa would be cheaper than staying at multiple rooms. Three people would have to have their own beds to sleep in and we need to stay cheap too. We will not being staying at a Value Resort Hotel or the Disney World Campground either. Any additional information would be helpful too. Thanks.

Open Question: Should I go to Florida or this EPICSAUCE indoor waterpark/hotel for Spring Break?
For Spring Break this year, my mom and I have narrowed our possible vacations down to two possibilities, Florida, or this really amazing waterpark. My mom is just as torn as I am, so she left it up to me to decide.
Kalahari Resort (Sandusky): This is where we went for Spring Break last year, and I can honestly say that I had the time of my life. This place is a giant African themed hotel with an indoor waterpark and just about anything else you can imagine (epic arcade in which I blow every last penny I have on). I have a strange fetish for the way hotels smell, so this place is like Heaven for me. I'd be staying in a suite with my mom, my aunt, my cousin, my best friend, my best friend's mom (who is also my mom's best friend), my best friend's aunt, and my best friend's cousin.
If you want to check out the site to get a better feel for the resort (and a better chance at Best Answer), here's a link:
http://www.kalahariresorts.com/oh/
The rides there are flippin' sweet, and I've been wanting to go swimming so bad it literally hurts lately.
Florida: I'm not gonna lie, I've got the winter blues. It's freezing cold, and I just want to see the blue sky and some sun. We'd go to Florida by plane and visit my aunt and uncle. I have a very odd love for the way airplanes and airports smell. Yes, I'm a freak. I want to feel the warm, humid air and see my family, as well as MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE going to the Harry Potter exhibit at Universal Studios (I'm a HUGE fan!)
Thanks for your help!
Oh, and I have untill tomorrow to decide, Cora.

Resolved Question: At the Disney's Orlando,Florida Polenysian Resort...?
At the Disney's Polenysian Resort what did you think of the rooms there? Also, do they have a bar with like, pina coladas and daqurius? What did you find great about there and what kinda sucked. Also, what restaurants would you recommend if you had two adults, a 17 year old and a 14 year old?

Resolved Question: What scams, internet or other, have you fallen for?
When I was 19 I got my first credit card with credit for a whole $300. I was contacted by Ramada Plaza resorts and folded like a cheap chair for a "free" vacation. I almost included 3 of my best friends. After the fact, I checked it out and although it was legitimate, it was not free. Meals, airfare to Florida, taxes turned out to be $2000+ per person. Luckily they had only charged my card for the $300 but were demanding the balance. I fought it and won. I contacted 'Phone Busters' who advised me it was legitimate but what it really cost, and that I could probably book a vacation of my choice for much, much less.
The ones I love are the companies who advertise diet supplements, make-up, etc. for a free one-month trial...all you pay is the shipping. Then the next month your credit card is billed for $79.95 and good luck getting a human on the line to cancel!
How about you?
(and I just about bought the Slap Chop...good thing I researched that one first!)

Open Question: How many of you out there love Disney Pin Trading?
2 years ago (2008) my wife & I began this pin ntrading hobbie just for fun and now we own over $38,000 in pins to say the least. It is a very expensive hobbie. but fun and very educational once you get to know what each pin means and stands for and learn its' value. You trade pins between cast members at either Disneyland Resort & California Adventure and even Walt Disney World i Florida.
