Open Question: Which UC or other college is best for me? (Disregarding grades etc...)?

I prefer a large area that has access to the ocean (I like surfing) as well as an urban area and natural-mountainous areas. I enjoy sports like track and field, wrestling, MMA, watersports, tennis, badminton, football... I'm planning but not firm on going into health care (for the pay and etc... still need to determine an ideal career). I plan on going into the navy or airforce for the college pay and for life experience after college so money should not be an issue. So far I have a 4.1 in my junior year and about a 3.8 total but its hard to maintain it this semester and my SAT grades have not arrived but im guessing around a total of composite of 1500's-1600's.

Open Question: how do i become more happy?

as i've gotten older i've began to deal with more stress which is normal. sometimes i don't like showing my emotion to my parents and we always end up fighting instead. me and my mom have a better connection, but either way i appreciate all that my parents have done for me. being an athlete for 10 years now, i unfortunately couldn't get any scholarships as a freshman and the financial aid wasn't enough so i can't attend a college by choice. i'm stuck between two colleges that aren't so great now, but plan to transfer. one i can play tennis at (not a great division 1)and the other i can't because they don't have a team, but is a better school.. i'm also just stressed with other things as well seeing as i'm a teenager and have other things going on.. i just feel like i'm such a let down to my parents and myself and should have taken things more seriously during the beginning of high school. i just can't seem to stay happy, and especially at night i get so alone and sad. I have great supportive friends and a boyfriend, but i still feel like no one actually understands. i don't want medication.. i just would appreciate some advice thanks.

Open Question: What are my chances at a good college?

My history: I'm wasn't born in U.S., from Burma-- very poor country. My parents don't know any english . I moved here when I was 6, I've had a pretty hard life because my parents lack of english. I'm doing pretty well in school : I'm a junior and my current culmulative is a 3.83 weighted. I really messed up sophomore year because i had a 3.67 for both semesters, but now i feel like I've improved a lot! 4.2! Has taken three APs so far, and four honors classes. My january SATs were 1630 , not good at all. I'm shooting for 2000+, I can't afford to take SAT classes so I've been studying alone trying to learn 20 words a day and went through the princeton review prep book, now moving onto the collegeboard prep book. involved in a lot of clubs and done many community service hours: outside cultural club, volunteer at a buddhist temple, NHS - social chair (planning to run for president next year) , CSF- held board position for three years (representative & secretary twice) , formed/ founded my own service club, Publicity for an environmental club, will be in four years of tennis ( varsity next year, won Most Valuable Player) , taking ROP class (regional occupation program) for seventh period, took debate freshmen and sophomore year (won three awards) for zero period. I live in California, so I was wondering what are my realisitic UCs & in reach Ucs? Should I take in internship in the summer for architecture (my major) or take three AP classes senior year?

Open Question: What is a good option for college?

Guys, I'm stuck. I dont know which school to go to, i live in texas and i have a 3.7gpa out of a 5.0 since i am in pre ap and ap classes. I have participated in sports such as football, track, tennis and basketball. All the way through my sophmore year, but from now on am i only going to participate in tennis and devote my time to school and friends. (our football team is a cult) i am more than likely in the top 40% or maybe the top 30% of my class. i go to a 2a school. i plan on having tons of hours logged on volenteer work at a local animal shelter. I am a great tester but personally i dont feel like i will get into any great schools. I want to become a physiatrist and in order to do that i will need to find a school that will be a stepping stone to enter med school. :/ any schools in texas that will take me lets say i make a 1500-1600 on my sat? i dont know but im paranoid about it ....any advice about what i could do to help myself out?
