Open Question: what will happen and what should i do?

I am not giving names of the people that where involved. So in februrary my friend bob said he saw this guy in the p.e locker room with an iphone and a psp. bob said that he wants to steal the iphone and psp.... hes all like you want to help? i was thinking. peer pressure it was getting me. i refused to do so with him. then bob told my other friend ben to help him steal his backpack so they can steal the iphone and psp.. so then after like 2 weeks they took the backpack and took the iphone and psp . i saw everything... ben threw the iphone in his locker and bob put the psp in his locker also. then we went to p.e after p.e we were dressing in the locker room then ben gave me the iphone and told me to sell it. he said that hes going to give me a tip if he does. so then i put the iphone up on craigslist and then i trade it for a blackberry phone, then i sold the blackberry and got like 200 bucks. i bought my self some clothes and food with that money. so then today morning the police arrived in front of my house while i was about to walk my dog. they asked to have a talk with them i said ok. so they showeed me a paper of my ip adress and everything and they accused me of stealing that iphone. i wasnt really sure if they actually stole it or not though. but ben stole it and gave it to me. so then they arrest me and take me to the station and talked with me more.... and gave me a ticket and now i have to go to court in like may. but i was so nervous and told them that bob took the iphone and gave it to me to sell it. so now i am writing a police report of the actual thing that ben took the iphone and gave it to me. please tell me what will happen. i am almost 16 and what does this have to do with sexual stuff? how am i not innocent??!? i know i did it wrong but i dont know if it was really stolen or not.

Open Question: Duffel bag/suitcase problem on a plane?

I'm 17, and flying for the first time down to Florida with my best friend this summer. My mom said I couldn't take any duffel bags, and I could only take suitcases because duffel's can't be checked. Is that true? Because I hate suitcases, I think duffels are better, especially with the way I pack. And what about backpacks? Basically just explain the backpack/duffel bag/suitcase thing about checked luggage. Thanks!!

Open Question: How can I help my friend Elizabeth?

Last year, my friend (we'll say her name is Pam) was madly in love with a guy named Brent. They had been friends for years and she was so crazy over him. Yet, he continued to toy with her and dated multiple girls. He cheated on those girls and never payed any attention to her. It really hurt Pam. She always wondered why he hadn't asked her out. Last year, Pam and Brent were in the same science class together. They'd always hang out and have fun together during that period. One day, Pam brought her expensive new Ipod to school. It meant the world to her that her mom bought it for her because they're relatively poor. Anyway, she took the Ipod out for a moment in class, put it back in her backpack, and then walked out of the class to go to the bathroom. When she checked her backpack next period, the Ipod was gone. Weeks went by and she was frantically searching for it. She asked Brent if he took it and he said no. He lied to her face so many times. One day, the truth came out. Brent had stolen Pam's Ipod and given it to a girl so he and the girl could sell it and buy drugs. Pam was heartbroken for months. It was awful. Present day... This year, Brent has come back to school. He was severely punished over the summer and acts overly nice. One my friends, Elizabeth, doesn't know about his past. They've been dating for a week and it's bad. I don't want him to steal from her or hurt her. A few people (the ones who know the truth) have tried to tell her that he sells drugs and cheats but she won't listen. She hasn't heard the Pam and Brent story though. How can I get her to take my word? Thanks! :)

Open Question: Opinions on this dialogue excerpt?

I've been staring at this mostly-dialogue scene for ages and can't quite figure out why I don't like it. Opinions? Suggestions? Anything, really, would be enormously helpful. Thanks! -- Alexis’s pencil jabbed me in the arm. “What?” “You’re, what, starting the paper already? We have a month, Devon.” Taylor dropped down in the seat in front of me, her chin resting on the back and her blue eyes sparkling. “Well, this is fun,” I said. Alexis glared, turning sideways in her chair. “Oh yeah. It’s a blast. And this,” she waved the assignment sheet over her head, “this is insulting.” Taylor shrugged. “Oh, I don’t know about that. I think it’s pretty great, myself.” “Yeah, well. What do you think, Devon? Since you’re so excited.” I capped my pen and stuffed my notebook back in my bag. “I don’t think it’s a big deal. It’s a pretty generic topic, right? I don’t think she actually meant it for you.” “I never said she did,” Alexis said, jumping right back on the defensive. “What, do you think there’s something wrong with me?” “No, I just—” “You know, I’m not stupid, Devon. I know something happened. Rebecca may be blind, but trust me, I’ll figure it out. So. Are you going to tell me?” I crossed my arms and glared back. “Don’t be ridiculous,” I snapped. “Well, this is certainly more interesting than class,” Taylor said. “Shut up,” Alexis snarled. “I’m not done.” She turned back to me, her expression softened and slightly hurt. I resisted rolling my eyes. “Okay. Okay, Devon. I get the others not saying anything, but. You.” “What the hell are you talking about?” “You weren’t going to tell me about Gina’s party, were you?” Oh. “Oh, come on. I thought she was full of crap, you know, ‘cause of Chelsea and Morgan and all of that, and you know Haley’s not exactly sane right now.” A loud ripping sound interrupted my train of thought. Taylor had produced a bag of cheddar popcorn. “No, really, go on,” she said. “This is fascinating.” “Forget it.” Alexis threw her phone in her purse and ducked under her desk to retreive her backpack. She flung it over one shoulder and stalked out of the room, her heels clacking against the tile floor. Taylor offered me some of her popcorn. I shook my head. “Come on, Devon. It’s not that bad. She’ll be over it by lunch.” “Yeah, maybe.” I picked at my thumbnail. The lime green polish was chipping again. “Ryan keeps looking over at you,” Taylor said, changing the subject. I groaned. “Not helping. Seriously.” “He’s cute.” “And he’s dating Vi. I don’t steal people’s boyfriends.” Taylor sighed. “Are you still pining over Oliver?” I snorted. “Yeah. That’s what it is. I’m so broken up over Oliver that I can’t function.” She raised an eyebrow. “No, I’m fine. Seriously. I pretty much already knew, and we were planning to split up at the end of summer anyway.” “Huh,” Taylor said, examining the cheddar dust lingering on her fingers. “I just want to be single for a while, okay? Just for a while. And I don’t need people trying to set me up.” “Whatever,” she said, glancing back over my shoulder. “Ryan’s still staring.” “Oh, shut up.” She grinned.
