Open Question: Critiquing please??????????

Angels and demons are enemies it is a known fact. They are opposites and cannot coexist without there being problems. However, even though that is all true, they are forced to go to school together. That is where I fit into this story. When an angel or a demon is born, there is no telling what they will end up turning out to be. According to the Elders, a group of angels and demons who have somehow managed to come together and be our leaders, you cannot truly be sure until you reach age nineteen. Though my parents knew what I was going to be the minute I was born. *** The school was huge. It stood three stories tall and looked to be twice the size of a grocery store. I frowned as I watched groups of teenagers walk passed; laughing, smirking, and completely oblivious to my glares. I pushed the strap of my backpack further onto my shoulder and walked up to one of the benches that stood under a large willow tree. I examined each passing teenager and could easily pick out which ones were angels and which were demons, however no one else could tell the difference between everyone and so it was not uncommon to see an angel and demon making out behind a wall where they think no one can see. “Raven!” Someone called. My head snapped back to see my sister running towards me. “I thought I told you to never speak to me ,” I snarled under my breath. My hand came up making quick fluid motions as a smoky purple wall appeared in front of my blonde headed idiot of a sister. She ran right into it, hitting her square in the face. She fell backwards and looked up at me with hurt eyes. I just smiled, stood up, and walked away. Annie had always tried to be a good sister and looked up to me, but that was only because she was oblivious to what I was. Even though it is said you cannot tell what you are yet, everyone knew how my sister would turn out. Her wavy blonde hair, her sapphire blue eyes, the glow that seemed to radiate around her, all signs of an angel. The complete opposite of my dark brown hair, my brownish-red eyes, my tan skin, everything about me screamed demon! Of course she was too much of a ditz to see that. ok, so, my mom gets drunk a lot. im not sure if u would really call it drunk tho. well, im gonna call it that. she gets drunk 3-4 times a week n when she does, shes really annoying n she acts more loving towards my bro n i. ordinarily, kids would luv that but i like- LOVE my alone time n shes so ANNOYING! we got DDR3 4 da wii n i wanted to start it up. ive only played a few times with my bff n so i started playing with it n then my mom did n i went downstairs. then, she keeps calling me everytime she cant do sumthin like i know it all! she even forgot her own NAME! *shes drunk now, btw n this was a few mins ago* n then she calls me up to play n i start doing rilly bad cuz i dk how to play n then i turn it off it basically, she called me a quitter, 4 me to never ask her for anything, and i'll never b a veterinarian, which has been my dream 4 quite sum time. whenever she's drunk, she calls me names n i absolutely HATE IT! One night, i was asleep, she came in my room n when i woke up, i found her sitting on my floor looking threw my backpack. i pretended to go back to sleep n the next thing i know, she's HITTING ME WITH A WOODEN SPOON! i still pretended to be asleep n then she started dancing to sum song. eventually, she left n i started to cry. i used to b a cutter n ive been clean for a month or so now but because of all this, it makes me want to cut more. and then, my brother tries to act all tough n keeps wanting me to fight him. i luv a good fight but now, im really not in the mood! i dont ever tell my mom anything about my life cuz she thinks we're real close n stuff but ik we rnt. i luv my dad WAY more then her, could u blame me? he never gets drunk, i dont think he's been drunk in my life, he wants me succeed n he wants wut evers best 4 me. he never calls me names or anything. Can ANYONE PLEASE give me advise on how to deal with my mom AND my brother? as i type, he's trying to act all tough, wanting 4 me to fight him. i can beat him up but im not in the mood right now and i know when he falls n starts to cry, I'll get in trouble. 2 1st commenter- how can u tell me if im emo or not? u dont know me!! ok, y the hell r u all talking about me *not* being emo? i am going on a feild trip to the caves and my teacher said i needed a backpack .i want a quilted backpack ,but i have know idea where to go and find. any help or advice?

Open Question: Is there a law for driving that you have to have your license close to you?

Just wondering if it's a law or something. See, I keep my license in the backseat of my car in my backpack, and if I get pulled over I don't want them to think I'm getting a gun or anything.

Open Question: Does Adam Pascal blow the candle out in the RENT movie?

On broadway he does, and Will Chase does too, and I've only seen those two broadway productions, but I can't remember if he does it in the movie and I'm not so curious as to actually find out right now (my movie's in my backpack, which means I have to get up, put it in, wait a decade and a half and then locate the spot, way more hassle than it's worth. Also, on a totally unrelated note, I highlight stuff when I read on the internet. That being said, I was reading this person youtube profile and accidentally clicked on the report photot whatever else is there. They don't even have a background image. They do, however, have clips of things they might not have permission to have. Is that going to hurt their profile at all?

Open Question: I was excited but now my mom says no!!!?

I had applied for this job to go to Europe and keep these kids while their parents backpack through Europe. I know it was a very thin chance that I could get it but I did and I was so happy about it. I mean I was finally going to go to Europe and it is for a couple of months. I've had lots of experience with babysitting so keeping the 2 kids wasn't going to be a problem and my mom was even okay with me putting in for it but then when I got it she said NO!!!! I can't believe she did that to me! She knows how much this means to me and that it's for a lot of money (enough to buy the used car I want) but she still won't let me go. I didn't even need to hear her reasons I just told her how unfair she was being and haven't talked to her since. What is her problem? Anyway is there a way I can convince her to let me go? I'm 17 years old
